Shamanism and Ho’oponopono

It took one sleepless night to jolt me out of my complacency. The noisy residents in the unit above ours defying routine action by the security guards hinted that I was not properly connected with Source. For months I was comfortable with the principles of shamanism guiding my pathway.

I was happy with my gratitude prayers and my invocation that my mind be opened. I was happy with being a multisensory being a la Gary Zukov specs.

My distress not to mention that of my husband led me to question my prevailing worldview. I felt my shamanism wasn’t connecting me enough to source.

Days before, I requested Dr Lipton to repost on Facebook his post about 5% and 95% of our programs. Then I thought of going back to Ho’oponopono to deal with my programs. I took solace in Ho’oponopono which cleansed my programs.

I regained much of my self-confidence. According to Joe Vitale’s version of Ho’oponopono it does not help to have a victim attitude in life! My belief that I left God freely to enter this life was strengthened. I still believe I was given all that was needed for my adventure here on earth.

I realized that unlike what the Ho’oponopono was teaching, I was relying too much on myself – my mind. I misinterpreted some principles of Shamanism.

Ho’oponopono does not believe in the power of intentions. It relies on INSPIRATION (intuitive guidance) from God. Ho’oponopono takes cognizance of how much damage our egos can inflict on our programs/beliefs.

I have slept soundly with Ho’oponopono (even if the residents upstairs are noisy). I have not given up Shamanism. I have just moved on in my spiritual journey a la Dr Page from personality-driven intentions to inspiration received in silence in a responsive mode and not in reactivity.

Healthcare According to Specs

I am my best doctor! I closely monitor my health because I have always been classified as a marginal case. Mainstream doctors don’t help peculiar cases like mine. I don’t belong to the sampling for most medical researches. No doctor or healthcare provider has the patience to deal with the many particulars of my daily health.

For example, just this year at least twice my blood pressure shot up abnormally but I refused to go to the hospital because I was feeling okay.

Dr Christine Page may shed light:
“During my studies I became more and more aware that despite a similar diagnosis, different patients reacted in different ways to the disease and to the chosen treatment.”

Following the advice of Dr Page, I have been talking directly to my organs. My own sister living in the USA whom I consider more spiritual than I am asked me to try spiritual insight to deal with my blood pressure.

“Urban Shaman” with its principles 2,3 and 6 have been guiding me.

I do a lot of Internet researches plus I read a lot of medical books. I have learned from the late Dr Sarno that all pain is due to oxygen depletion.

Since 2014 I have been using the magnesium spray of Dr. Jean Netario Cruz for practically all aches and pains and of course for my circulation.

I have been using the WAKI pen also for pains and muscular health. I have stopped using it lately because its lithium battery has become too expensive for my budget. Besides, I ave crafted my own jaw and breathing exercises to compensate.

By now I already know the best diet for me. It takes a lot of self-mastery to give up taste for health benefits.

I have been faithful in my health protocols because I am convinced health is part of my spirituality.

Efficient Mind

I believe that God does not need me nor anybody else nor anything. God is complete; perfect. God does not even need to be worshiped.

as early as pagan times, people worshiped because of their natural yearning fora power greater than themselves. Worship is a human need not God’s.

Encourages by “Urban Shaman”, I have opted to worship God by doing and being the best I can. I like the Hawaiian shaman’s way of doing things with only their bodies and their minds, without drums nor other tools.

I am determined to be as healthy as I can get, whether I still have to use my cane for walking. I’ll be happy to walk with a cane but alone without the support of my husband or any security guard or a favorite parking aid when we are at the mall.

I want to use my mind efficiently – to do things through my thoughts, not my body.

“…an intensely imagined experience is just as good as the real thing.”

“By using full sensory imagination in which they perform every time, the athletes create body maneuvers which make the physical performance easier and better.”

I have been using the above process for my walking.

Self-Care

Before I chose to leave God to enter into this life with all its challenges, I was given all I would need to deal with the programs/rules of the universe.

The general instruction was to go and explore how it is to be made to the image and likeness of God.

I believe I made a particular contract with God to follow a peculiar and personal pathway to ensure my return.

I believe my husband and our daughter also have their own contracts. And so do all human beings. Ultimately we all will return to Source. It is just a matter of who goes ahead.

After reviewing “Urban Shaman” I got more clues on how to navigate my journey with less difficulties.

“It is that people are what they are and they do what they do.”

“No matter what they say, they’ll do what they do and that’s what I expect.”

“If it isn’t what i want, then I do something to change myself.”

A recent newspaper article of Bong Osorio has a similar message:

“Real people don’t behave as rationally or as predictably. We are familial and emotional and the reasons behind the choices we make aren’t so easily measured.”

That article quoted Loebar of Dentsu Aegis Network: “We go with our guts; we hear what we want to hear; we choose our own ‘facts'”.

Mike Dooley, Dr Christine Page, Gill Edwards, M Tamura, S Boorstein etc have taught me to be kind to myself.
