“All power comes fromĀ within.” Understandable. God is already in us. God is Source. Our power comes from God within us. We are made to the image and likeness of God is the religious interpretation of the principle about power.
In my case, I no longer complain against my nightly waking up after midnight. Instead I use the time to thank God for anything and everything and for everybody. On Facebook I read countless posts saying that gratitude is the best prayer.
“Earth, Spirit Living” says: “Among other things, gratitude opens our minds, hearts, senses and creativity to the good that we wish for.”
Noteworthy is the fact that “Urban Shaman” discusses lengthily the powers of the mind, heart and senses. (including the subtle senses aside from the five basic ones)
“The world is what we think it is.” This is the ability to operate in the world from the perspective of the shamanic principles, to see things from that viewpoint rather than in the ordinary way.
This has led me to insights with the opening of my mind, my heart, my senses. I can no longer get angry nor irritated because I see things very differently.
Every once in a while, I get inspiration about which of our many treasures from foreign students I need to share with others.
During the dy I take the initiative to do what I think is best. Initiative is valed in shamanism. I can’t forever indulged in 2nd level thinking. But I take pains to respond not to react.
Even Dr Christine Page has written about having one foot in this world and another in the metaphysical.
Sometimes I get messages via a younger sister living in the USA whom I believe is more advanced than i am spiritually.
