For around 3 years now, i have moved away from the “valley of tears” paradigm as inspired by a cousin much younger than I am. I have done away with the term “trials” and replaced it with “Challenges” as in the hero’s journey of Joseph Campbel and Maria Nemeth.

this is along changing FRAMES. one of my old books, “Why We Make Mistakes” says: “… how we frame an issue can greatly affect or response to it.”
“…we frame, or look at, an issue in the wrong way.”

Had I remembered what I learned as early as 2011 from the book of Joseph T. Hallinen I would have spared myself a lot of pain and struggle over the hectic schedule of Emil in 2017.

This FRAMING concept coupled with INTENTIONAL REVERSALS would have made my commitment to allow Emil to follow his own, specific pathway far easier for me.

But it’s never too late. 2018 can be a year of new FRAMES and new VOCABULARY!
