The Shift

Neale Walsch wrote: “Life itself is nothing more than energy, vibrating at particular and various frequencies. Energy vibrating at certain frequencies produce physical manifestations in the form of onjects, situations, circumstances and events. This occurs because energy attracts energy. Energy impacts upon energy. Two energies produce a third energy. And so it goes throughout all of life.”

” ‘Selecting from’ what my friend Deepak Chopra calls ‘the fields of Infinite Possibilities’ is a delicate procedure. It is a matter of what we focus on, whether we want to or not, whether we do it consciously or not. ”

“It not only works with your most recent thoughts or ideas, but also with the one to which you give the most frequency and focus and emotional energy.”
At this point I consciously choose a life od joy using my divinity.

“Actually, the process is working perfectly. If you experience yourself wanting something desperately and if you keep saying to yourself I want that, you are announcing to the universe that you do not have it.”

“As long as you hold such  thought, you can not have it because you cannot experience the one hand what you are confirming on the other hand that you do not.”
This makes me anxious. After all,  I have been asking and asking in prayer. Neale Walsch is forcing me to unlearn so many things.

“The universe feels your energy…”

“We are talking about power here. We are talking about the power of prayer. But prayer is more than simply what we ask for. Prayer is our evry thought, word and deed. In fact asking for something is actually the weakest path toward getting it, because asking for something is an affirmation that you do not now have it.”

“Putting all this another way, your energy has the power of a magnet. Remember that even feeling (actually especially feeling) is energy, and in the matter of energy like attracts like.”

“The idea is to step into the application of the power of God, not supplication to God that the power be used. God’s invitation is to utilize the confirmatiob power of prayer.”

” This shift from supplication to application can be miraculous. These are not affirmations. These are confirmations. An affirmation seeks to produce an outcomeor an experience. A confirmation annunces that the outcome has already been produced.”

Theology of Application

Inspired by Neale Walsch’s theology of application, not theology of supplication, I confirm my divinity. Bolstered by what I learned from the catechism that I was made to the image and likeness of God and emboldened by the writings of Wayne Dyer and George Sison every so often daily I invoke my divinity. I remind myself that God has given me permission to heal myself.
There are so many inspiring passages from “Co-creating at Its Best”.
Early in the morning I do a lot of jaw exercises to release the trapped muscles from my shoulders, my stomach, my legs and even my toes. Of course I spray Jean Netario’s magnesium spray to help my muscles. It can be tiring but I persist inspired by the little improvements in my walking. I notice the exercises even help to feed my head with more oxygen thereby taking the wooziness when I use new styles of walking from our condo unit to the trash room and back.
I believe my journey towards walking without a cane is rather slow because I have yet to erase erroneous programming in my subconscious after so many years of negative thoughts and fears. I am assisted here by the Ho’oponopono from Joe Vitale’s “Zero Limits”.

Relationships

Boo Chanco in the Philippine Star of January 14 featured Pope Francis. The pope writing to the atheist Eugenio Scatfari: “I would not speak about ‘absolute’ truths, even for believers…”

He continued: “Truth is a relationship. As such, each one of us receives the truth and expresses it from within, that is to say, according to one’s own circumstances, culture, and situation in life.” This statement is expressed also in the writings of Michael Tamura and those of Wayne Dyer. Of course, Neale Walsh even said more.

The above is akin to what I learned from Kahu Ka’imiloa a keeper of tradition when interviewed by Lilou Mace. She spoke about how the spiritual elders have changed some rules to be relevant to times that have changed tremendously.

George Sison wrote: “There is a power in the Universe that you are always using to create your life. You can use it intelligently to be a blessing to yourself and to others.”

“With the realization of where the power lies (the Power is the God within you) a quantum leap in consciousness occurs.”

Karma

Dr Christine Page wrote: “Karma is not punishment for wrong doing. It is there to help us to understand both poles of existence (spirit and matter) and to choose to become neither. ”

“If we choose or fail to take advantage of the opportunity before us then in view of the fact that life is a spiral, the same experience will be offered again in a different guise. However, there is no guarantee that it will be easier next time. ”

“the purpose of man is to develop self-consciousness, i.e. to see himself as separate from his personality and then to lose this separation as the energies of the soul and personality merge to form spiritual man.

This is an esoteric strategy to attain final union with our God. For me this is a more doable injunction than the religious mandate to be perfect as the father is How?

Dr Page continued: ” This increase in consciousness is achieved by experiencing and accepting various aspects of duality and recognizing first their differences and then their sameness. In this way man can start to see himself as both spirit and matter and then to see that they are from the same source.”

I can’t help but wonder why in college we were not taught the above. In college and through life the strong dictum of religion and mainstream Catholicism has been to know, to love and serve God. How? How in the 21st century when conditions are sooooo different from Biblical times? I pray that soon my Catholic religion will be made more relevant. I still go to Mass and the sacraments but not due to compliance but I believe they truly connect me to my God.

A Pathway

Like Drs Goleman and Damaso, Shapiro recognizes: ” that powerful

negative emotions can serve an adaptive role, such as impressing upon us how to avoid danger. Shapiro believes that our information-processing systems provide a natural method for integrating distressing events, allowing us to maintain mental and physical balance and to function effectively. However, she believes that strong emotional events can overwhelm our natural mechanism and cause the processing to become stuck in our nervous system.”

The above has made me a fan of Cognitive Therapy. ” Cognitive Therapy ultimately changes our emotional responses by changing our core beliefs.” Continue reading
