At Shangrila, Makati
I felt strange
When they sang “Happy Birthday”.

Part 1 Pathway of My Anxiety
Julie has been living away from us since her college years. she would call our landline every other day if not daily.
I was still young enough to deal with the separation.
Julie was sent to Australia for a special training. She would use me as her alarm clock. I had to call her daily.
Emil was horrified with our PLDT bills. So I was sent to join Julie. But this did not last I had to be a wife and not only a mother to Julie.
When Emil was with USAID he had to fly to Naga on weekends every month till it was rainy season.
I wasn’y fazed with reports of near plane disasters.
Emil went to Indonesia with Dr Jeanne etc to deliver papers. I had no caregivers then. But I survived.
From the UK with Love
Our only daughter who lives in the UK has been assigned in Manila for 4 years. This means visits complete with pictures and Stories about her cat. Of course this also means Stories about BTS before the group was disbanded.
In my room I have a collection of RJ stuffed toys of various sizes. I also ha a collection of Hello Kitty stuff. On our dining table which also serves as my working table is a tin can of Hello Kitty for one peso coins. Beside it is a Hello Kitty puse for coins of bigger denominations.
Inmy bedroom I have an RJ cushion which always sleeps along with me. In fact I have 2 RJ cushions so I can send one to the laundry and still have one with me.
Most of my pillow cases have Hello Kitty design on them. In my computer table I ha BT21 notepads which I gladly gave away recently.
Ironically I have never been To Korea. I don't eat Korean food either. I have not been to Japan where Hello Kitty lives.
SNORING
Senior caregivers who snore,
should be fired because
they sleep on their jobs.
April in Paris
April in Paris.
Abundant with flowers
But not when we were there.
