Awakening Our Divinity

Spirituality is closely affected by our endocrine system: Lynn Grabhorn wrote in “Beyond the Twelve Steps”:
“The pituitary is about the size of a hazelnut, shaped like a pear with its mouth at the narrow end. When thought comes into the brain, it hits the pituitary which then secretes a hormone that flows through the brain into he pineal gland another member of the endocrine system.”

“The pineal, a tiny pine cone-shaped gland projecting down from the back of the brainstem, is the guy that’s responsible for amplifying the thought frequencies when they’re received so that they can be dispatched throughout the body.”

I wished I knew all these in the 90s when I was in and out of the hospital  too
often.  Then my voice turned funny. It was because of myasthenia gravis but my HMO would not honor the diagnosis. Eventually I was diagnosed to have severe clinical depression.

I think had I been spiritual instead of being religious as early as the 90s I would not have sank into depression.

One doctor casually said my problem was due to hormonal imbalance but the rest of the medical team over ruled her.

Lynn Grabhorn could have  done me wonders. She wrote:
“Why is all this important [the endocrine system]? Well, your pituitary is the door to God. The more you allow unlimited thoughts into your brain the more it opens, the more it opens, the more you know. And here’s the crux of it: whatever you know;
you will become.”

Pain-Body

Aside from the bodies identified by Dr. Christine Page, I would like to add another body: the pain -body. The term comes from Eckhart  Tolle. George Sison wrote: “… pain-body describes the accumulation of our painful experiences from the time we were conceived to the present.”

He wrote that it begins to take a life of its own, very much like what we call ego that constantly underscores our imperfections. “This ego, a kind of false self, usurps our so-called true self which is our perfect-self made to the image and likeness of Gd. It then tries with all its might to run our lives.”

My insight is that it is this pain-body , not the devil, that most of the time blinds us to our true self, negating the truth that we are made to the image and likeness of God.

It is this pain -body which prevents us from being Who-We-Really-Are, not any external force.

Dr Page in her book “Frontiers of Health” has a detailed discussion about suppressed emotions registered in the subconscious as pain which affects our choices thus retarding our individual journey into spirituality.

It is important for our spiritual journey that we are aware of our different bodies. Dr Page wrote: “… to unlock the buried emotion and bring the feelings from the ASTRAL BODY through the MENTAL BODY and to resolution on a soul level.”

Who We Are Medically / Scientifically

According to Dr Christine Page: “In the beginning there was no-thing. There was however, the container for all life… the ether (the original female energy.”
Note that George Sison has a similar design for consciousness.
The Bible’s version is: “The earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep…”
Dr Page continued: “Through the action of the electromagnetic force of the sun (the original male energy) the mineral kingdom was formed.”
“This kingdom is represented by the crystals and rocks also by the basic chemical elements which are used in the construction of man and all other life systems.”
This is why for my own healing, I sometimes wear a tourmaline bracelet with a tourmaline pendant to help me walk again without a cane.
“Next came the plant kingdom. Plants grow through the interaction between the sun, minerals and the water within the earth.”
I try to munch on  raw Asetaba leaves and eat vegetables whenever I can surmount my dislike for them.
“Following the plants came the animal kingdom which feeds upon the plants and mineral kingdom in order to enhance their species.”
I eat lean pork, chicken and fish but not beef because of my hypertension. Besides my digestive system is no longer that efficient to handle beef.
“The came man; man is an omnivore. His survival is based upon the existence of the other three kingdoms.”
“Man is therefore the collective energy of the mineral, plant and animal kingdoms.”

Health Is Spiritual

According to Dr Christine Page: “This body [the mental body] is the seat of the will of the soul; the starting point from which the soul can attempt to integrate its intelligence with that of the personality.”

“It is the seat of logic or analytical thought.”

“It is the place where the impulses of the higher self, under the guidance of the universal laws, pass from the soul and are transformed into thoughtforms and then action.”

However, the mental body can’t work alone in spirituality. Dr Page wrote: “The soul’s assessment is based on Intuition which is influenced by the power to discriminate. Pure logic tends to rely on judgment which is usually biased in favor of the personality.”

“When man is purely identifying with his mental body, there is little impact  from the soul’s energy.”

This may explain why I had a mild stroke in 2012. Based on a personality test I took in the Internet this week, I moved from being an ISTJ to an INTJ. I lost my sensing function and replaced it with Intuition.

My personality with its extreme creativity (Intuition) exacerbated my abhorrence for structures especially religious/cultural ones. My personality clashed so much with my spirit. My body could not take it.

Self-Healing

Bente Hansen in “The new World of Self-healing wrote: “The reason for unexpected ill-health is often blamed on something tangible, such as recent events or even other people!”

” This is because Western cultures are imbued with the belief that what can be seen, felt, touched, smelled, or heard is the ONLY reality due to their tangibility.”

“It is often difficult to accept that there is more to reality than what medicines and science have taught.”
The above paragraphs have inspired me to cling even more to what I have read from Esther Hicks, Wayne Dyer, Donna Eden, George Sison, Tato Malay etc. My belief in self-healing has become even stronger.

My healer, Mary Jean Netario has yet to write her many ideas on healing.

I would like to repeat what I learned from George Sison about a year ago: “Our orientation is to stress what we don’t like… the Bible says it succinctly: Resist not evil. What you resist stays in your mind, and that is what you will get.”

He continued: “Everything in your life is what you have asked for, though not consciously. Figuratively speaking, you subconsciously chose to write the story of your life based on the lessons you have to learn in this lifetime.”
