Giving Thanks

“Giving thanks helps us see more closely and more clearly how we are so blessed in all aspects of our life.”

“We lessen the focus on our lack. We begin to be pleased with the big and the little things we have.”

The above statements from Mr. Pido Aguilar led me to review my favorite books. I am disappointed that “Urban Shaman” mentions giving thanks only in connection with the ritual of blessing land newly bought.

Vitale’s “Zero Limits” repeats ‘I thank you’ as part of the Ho’oponopono prayer.

Dr Christine Page’s many books do not have any statement on gratitude!

Of course Dr Lipton and Mike Dooley have Facebook posts on gratitude.

It was an old favorite book by Carol Adrienne which contained many pages on gratitude. This book is now so very dirty with my handwritten notes.

“Earth, Spirit Living” has been quoted by me several times in previous essays in the past:

“Among other things, GRATITUDE opens our minds, heart, senses and creativity to the good that we wish for.”
“When Life Changes…” by Carol Adrienne

“Gratitude unifies the mind with the intelligence of substance, so that [a person’s]
thoughts are received by the formless.”

“Spiritual development comes from keeping our minds open, our hearts open and having an attitude of GRATITUDE…”

“Give thanks regularly for what you already have. GRATITUDE is one of the best ways to raise our spirits to a higher frequency.”

Updating Traditional Thought

I expect my INTENTIONAL THOUGHTS to have more chances of manifesting now that I am aware of THOUGHT REVERSALS as taught by “Instant Emotional Healing”.

“Thus it SEEMS that thoughts exist independent of physiological stimulus or aside from a response to our internal or external environment.”

My reality is that I get negative thoughts, a lot actually, when my stomach does not behave. I believe this is the case due to the fact that I have been living with traditional limiting beliefs for so very long.

“We can generate a thought intentionally that has nothing to do with survival or merely stimulus and response.”

Yes! I can generate such intentional thought but only sometimes after more than a year of Ho’oponopono discipline and CONSCIOUSNESS work thanks to: Dr Lipton, Gary Zukov, Mike Dooley, Dr Christine Page etc.

“Our human capabilities of abstract thought are not part of the by-product of biochemical processes as some scientists would have us believe. It’s never ‘All in our head’. The thought that you have right now, whatever it is, is vital to all parts of you and exists all THROUGH YOU AND AROUND YOU.”

” QUANTUM PHYSICS explains how that can be.”

I expect a more productive, happier and healthier life now that I am embracing the QUANTUM WORLD VIEW.

My husband is a living proof of a productive, healthy and happy life with a QUANTUM WORLD VIEW.

Influential Energies

Quotations are from Chakra Healing by Lilly and Lilly

“Our lives are influenced by many different energies that we cannot see and yet they can profoundly affect our STATE OF MIND and our HEALTH.”

“We move within an invisible sea of electromagnetic energies originating from the deepest regions of space and from the center of our planet.”

“Our PERSONAL SPACE within and around our physical bodies is also inhabited by invisible but nonetheless powerful energies hat by heir interactions, create and maintain our health.”

The last sentence, especially, resonates with me. I connect it with what I wrote in a previous essay. I connect it and use it as a further explanation for reversals in my INTENTIONS which mere affirmations cannot deal with. “Instant Emotional Healing” has a detailed explanation on how we sabotage our INTENTIONS.

“The MIND, rather than he sense organs, is the traditional tool for accessing, explorin and balancing he energy of each chakra.”

In “Urban Shaman” which I also use for my health protocols, the MIND is the main
tool. But the MIND is defined as more than LOGIC!

Recently, a test available on Facebook identified me as 60% Left brain and 40% right brain. The results have helped me understand why I need to understand things before I m motivated to act. “Urban Shaman” considers this a setback.

My journey in this life combines the use of Ho’oponopono, the 7 PRINCIPLES of urban shamanism, self-healing protocols, the ESM protocols plus the guidelines from:

Gary Zukov, Neale Walsch, Dr Christine Page, Dr Sarno, Dr Lipton etc.

Beyond Affirmations

Quotes are from the book “Instant Emotional Healing”

“Intention is the focusing of thought. It is the way to organize thought energy to serve our goals. But in order to have our conscious thoughts get to their destination and have the effect we desire, we need to clear away the underlying blocks in the path.”

Our conscious thoughts may be true to our intentions. “But we may be unaware of the hidden reversals lurking in our minds and bodies, that foretell a different outcome. These hidden messages keep us from getting what we want or doing what we say we want to do.”

Ho’oponopono calls such, programs that we may not be aware of.
“We do not understand why and how these reversals of our intentions occur. we mean to do what we said we were going to do, but somehow we got tripped up.”

“Most people have had the experience of feeling like hey were undoing their best intentions.”

“This is what the polarity reversal exercises accomplish.” Dealing with our self-sabotage!

“We all these intention statements. These statements are similar to what are commonly called AFFIRMATIONS… But there is a significant difference. AFFIRMATIONS don’t acknowledge the persistent underlying negativity that is the source of the problem in the first place.”

“INTENTION STATEMENTS are a way of stating your intentions with SELF-ACCEPTANCE which acknowledges the counterproductive thoughts that may lie below the surface. Such statements are more likely to resonate with the inner truth.”

“Self-acceptance is the grounding that allows us to move toward personal changes.”

Self Management

I believe I chose to come into this life to explore what it means to be made to the image and likeness of God. i am happy the ESM (Emotional Self Management) celebrates the idea of self help. It goes hand in hand with the reality of my divinity.

A Facebook post by Michael Beckwith recognizes the power we have in ourselves. This is Principle #6 in “Urban Shaman”.

The idea must have been the theme of my parenting of our only child- Julie Anne. My guiding thought was to provide her with an environment where she could succeed in whatever she set forth to undertake.

This was easy. at an early age, she had an inner direction. What to wear. What to eat. What to do. Sometimes it meant staying out of our apartment in the wee hours of the morning for her to jump over a broom stick! She must have been 3yrs old or even younger. Obviously she felt sleep was a waste of time. In JASMS, during her pre-school years, she considered it a kind of punishment to endure sleeping time. Her teacher must have needed a break!

Early on she showed love for books. Love for writing notes. Even with her limited vocabulary (Of course in English). She would send me notes when she was not pleased with me. She caught on too early. She saw my long notes to her dad on yellow pad!

Her early years at JASMS, Indiana fed her self-direction. I needed to provide presence, though!! Assured I was around, she would leave her distinctive mark on every and all school activities.

Fast forward. Julie has been living away from us since her college years but we have always been a pager, a cellphone, a Facebook chat away. When she worked in Sydney, her Dad complained about our huge PLDT bill and decided to send me to stay a month with her. But then it was horrible for him. He vowed never to allow me to go abroad without him.

Emil and I believe in the importance of both parents parenting the child even thru adulthood.
We are reaping the happy results!
