Breakthrough

To regain BALANCE I have decided to engage in right-brain exercises as well as left-brain ones.

“Instant Emotional Healing” offers quick remedies:
“Humming activates right-brain activity while counting stimulates left-brain activity.”
“Eye movements activate regions within the visual cortex and integrate both hemispheres of the brain.”

I know I have been wracking my brains with left-brain activities. The other night I started HUMMING. Imagine. To my surprise I could not even finish the simple “Happy birthday” tune. I tried and tried. It was easier for me to hum parts of Rachmaninoff”s Concerto no. 2 part 3 (“Full moon and empty arms”). Eventually I enjoyed humming “Mary had a little lamb”.

Yesterday morning, i found it easier to go to the bank, to the mall, to see my eye doctor etc. When we returned to our condo i was ecstatic. I sailed through my anxieties and realized I had experienced a SPIRITUAL breakthrough.

It does not matter that I still walk with a cane!

Learning from Health Issues

This October, I have been receiving too many nudges about the lack of balance in my life. I have had ocular migraines which I have not had since 1979. i suspect its due to ASTIGMATISM.

“Frontiers of Health”: “Astigmatism: the reflective surface of the two eyes are not symmetrical and suggest the need in this life to find a BALANCE between one’s intuition and logic and to use them in harmony.” (Dr Christine Page)

Uncomfortable changes in my metabolism also indicates lack of BALANCE. My Monkey Mind has been unreasonable. Of course this indicates lack of BALANCE. I need clarity.

Frontiers of Health:

“This clarity of mind is the essence of true intellect, the highest form of intelligence where the analytic process is used to sort, reject and understand what is being said and what has gone unspoken.” (Dr Page0

“When the quality is combined with compassion and resonance of the heart, the power of intuition emerges.” (Dr. Page)
Frontiers of Health continues: This facet of the soul (third Eye) has the quality of discernment, objectivity, clarity, detachment and universal love…” (Dr Page)

This reminds me of of what Gary Zukov said about looking at the present moment but not being affected by what is happening.

Also what he said about being a multisensory individual and going to one’s highest self.

“Instant Emotional Healing” has relevant reminders for me: “Cognitive therapy ultimately changes our emotional responses by changing our core beliefs.”

“Sometimes in he formation of core beliefs, what really happened is not as important as how we perceived what happened.”

I go to Dr Christine Page (She is available even on Facebook!) for guidelines to understand what has been happening in my life. She gives comprehensive explanations of psychospirituality even metaphysics. She discusses health issues from the medical point of view and beyond. I go to the books of Louis Hay to fill in the gaps.

Neale Walsch is a constant reminder that God is not a punishing god (So unlike the Bible). He affirms what Dr Page teaches that sickness is not a punishment (for sin).

Gary Zukov has given me the most relevant pointers on how to live in the moment without being affected by what is happening. His guidelines are similar to the qualities of the 3rd Eye.

Needless to say the Ho’oponopono is a daily help along with the Principles of Urban Shamanism.

Grateful Heart

For quite a spell, I have been writing about my woes. A shift of focus may shift the energy.

“Earth, Spirit Living” : “Among other things, gratitude opens our heart, senses and creativity to the good that we ask for.”

I celebrate the fact that my potted plants have been taking turns to add color to our small garden with their flowers. I am happy enough with the lush growth of leaves but flowers are a bonus.

The money plants in my bedroom used to be BONSAIS but now are tall and wild. They not only give me oxygen but they are a great help in checking my Monkey Mind. It is as though they recite the Ho’oponopono prayer along with me, the Spanish version: “Lo siento. Perdon. Gracias. Te amo.

Daily, several times each day the Facebook posts of Dr Lipton put m in the right frame of mind. Neale Walsch talks to my soul. Gary Zukov reminds me to be a multisensory individual and to go to my higher self. Mike Dooley presents daily a different perspective from those who write in his “Thoughts Become Things” blog.

With Shamanism and Ho’oponopono the reality I desire is attainable!

The Chakras

The context of my worldview is that I am spirit having a human experience. This explains my many challenges as I go about my spiritual adventure exploring what it is to be made to the image and likeness of God.

Shortly after my March hip surgery i decided I am I am my best doctor. This October I chanced on an old favorite “The New World of Self-Healing” by Bente Hansen.

I noticed that allowing both my husband and daughter to follow their respective pathways has taken its toll on my body. This in spite of Ho’oponopono and urban shamanistic protocols.

I have chosen to get help from my books on the chakras I get a lot of help studying the Solar Plexus and the Throat.

Bingo1 The basic need of the SOLAR PLEXUS is valuing the needs of the self. The spiritual aspect is self-worth. Emotions are: anger, resentment, unwothiness and guilt.

I believe i don’t have unworthiness and guilt as issues. But i do have a lot of (suppressed) anger and resentment!

THE THROAT CHAKRA
Spiritual aspect: self-expression
Basic need: ability to accept change
Emotions: FRUSTRATION
keeping pace with the erratic schedule of my husband
helping our daughter with her health issues and work-life balance in London
FREEDOM

to go places on my own without having to be escorted by my husband cause of my walking challenges.

Louis Hay in “You Can Heal Your Life” has similar observations for the throat. Her study about the thyroid is very enlightening.
AND I thought my life in my 70s would be nice and easy!

Spiritual Being with Human Experience

Bente Hansen: “You are a spirit being having a human experience and are here to learn who you really are and what your purpose is.”

I am originally SPIRIT. I became human to explore what it is to be made to the image and likeness of God. I don’t believe i was banished into this “Valley of tears.”

This explains why according to “Urban Shaman” I have to live at different levels.
“Operating at second level (SPIRIT) in a primarily first level world (HUMAN) is not easy but is the key to a shaman’s success. What makes it especially challenging is that you also have to hold first level awareness so you can communicate with others at that level.”

I just realized while typing this essay how taxing my life has been this 2017. Staying on the second level of awareness when I am alone in the condo is no joke while my Monkey mind is busy thinking of our daughter and my husband very engaged in their respective first level world of work! I know I have committed to allowing both our daughter and my husband to follow their respective pathways. Sustaining the two levels of awareness has taken its toll on my body!

Joe Vitale prescribes the Ho’oponopono way: “Too many people, myself included, were visualizing and affirming in order to MANIPULATE the world. I now knew that isn’t necessary. You’re better off going with the flow while constantly cleaning (Ho’oponopono prayer) whatever comes up.”

I am thankful I don’t have to visualize nor affirm but cleaning the Ho’oponopono way is just as tedious. Reminds me of constant repetition of formula prayers of religion!

I am still predominantly living in my world of limiting beliefs. More than 60 years of living in fear, control, management principles, social conditioning are a heavy load to be cleansed by the Ho’oponopono.

I often catch myself sabotaging my new world view which is not more han 3 years old.

i believe my mild stroke in 2012 and my hip sugery of 2016 are manifestations of my limiting beliefs.

Martha Beck: “Its the emotional quality of grasping, clutching and neediness that bespeaks an underlying expectation of loss and deprivation that causes us to create nightmares in he world of form.”

Bente Hansen wrote something about the self knowing what is best for itself.

I know I must discern and make choices. Principle # 7 teaches that there is always another way of doing anything.

I have no intention of adopting again the one-size-fits-all pit fall of religion. My dogma is: There is definitely a God and He/She is on my side!
