Mastery

Neale Walsch wrote: ” … God is not on our side in the sense that God favors you over someone else but  life is always prepared to give us what we most firmly and feelingly believe we are going to receive.”

I believe what Neale Walsch has written but as a former English teacher his pronouns upset me.

According to Dr Page; “These rules form the basis of ‘BELIEF SYSTEMS’ which are then the main impulse of future activities.”

Neale Walsch elsewhere wrote: “Beliefs are the inventions and conventions of humanity.”

“Life proceeds out of your intentions for it. We have been told, ‘As you believe, so will it be done unto you.’ And that is true. Belief is a strong and very powerful energy.”

Dr Page evaluated beliefs thus: “The soul’s assessment is based on intuition, which is influened by the power of discernment.” She continued: “Sadly when man is purely identifying with his mental body [beliefs] there is little impact from the soul’s energy.”

“Life affects life through the process of life itself. The essential essence is an energy that has an impact on life. ” Walsch

“One who learns how to use this energy in a positive fashion through thought, word and action has stepped onto the road to mastery in living.”

You Don’t Have To Believe What You Remember

“you cannot cling to past hurts that you didn’t forgive/blame for things done or future expectations or worries.” M. Tamura
I can’t blame persons who failed to meet my expectations. After all lately, I have had several proofs my perceptions/interpretations are wrong. For example, I blamed our pickup/deliver laundry shop we have been patronizing for years. One evening, I thought one of my favorite dusters was misplaced. When I turned on the light, I realized I could not locate my duster because I was already wearing it. Another example is the location of a park in Wimbledon, London. I tried so hard to recall where we made a turn from our usual route going to the mall. Then I realized the park was on the opposite end but not before I spent time goggling and even messaging our daughter in London. My husband casually pointed out I was looking in the wrong direction.

Full Expansion

603932_670346142984927_1595419041_n According to Neale Walsch: “The divine purpose is for life to be used by divinity to express divinity in order that divinity may experience divinity in all its aspects. In short, God is using life in order to express itself.”

The above paragraph is benign to me. But the next one is disturbing: “Therefore , when life brings you challenges, difficulties and unique conditions, situations, and circumstances that are exactly suited to bring out the best in you, ‘judge not, and neither condemn,’ but be a light into the darkness, that you might know who you really are- and that all those whose lives you touch might know who they are as well, by the light of your example.”
The above would have been readily accepted by me when I was still a traditional religious person mindful of giving good example and having “sacrifice” and “struggle” as my daily bread. But after more than a year of Esther Hicks and George Sison I find the above jarring. Hicks especially convinced me that I can create my reality. Now Walsch has pointed out several unforeseen conditions. Maybe the conditions described by Walsch are what Hicks considers resistances that prevent manifestations. Don’t tell me this brings me back to square one!
“Therefore, all the people and events of your life – now or in the past- which seem to be ‘at odds’ with who you are and what you choose to experience, are simply gifts from the highest source, created for you and brought to you through the collaborative process of co-creating souls, allowing you to find yourself in a contextual field within which the fullest expression of who you really are becomes possible.”
“The divine purpose is to expand the reality of God.”
I am glad the challenges that seemed like darkness of the soul last June have been lifted, if only for awhile.
Esther Hicks wrote: “Through this process, you will return to your non-physical understanding, and then problems will cease to be problems and will be seen for what they really are -life -giving opportunities for eternal expansion.”
I say: God help me stay in my non-physical understanding!

Expansion

Hicks wrote: “Source continues to find higher and higher, purer and purer vibrations because of the contrast that you are sifting your way through.”
To understand Hicks I use Neale Walsch’s contextual field: “… the physical universe has been created as a contextual field within which choices become possible.”
“God has given all of God’s creatures this gift [absolute freedom] so that God could give itself the gift of totally experiencing the wonder and the glory of what it is.”
“While God exists as a singular reality, it is capable of manifesting in multiple forms. This multiplicity of forms should not be confused with a multiplicity of things. God is a single thing, revealing, demonstrating and displaying itself in endless variations.”
