According to Robert Sardello,” we divide, separate, analyze, scrutinize, take things apart, break them down into smaller and smaller pieces, rationalize. What we know in this way are abstractions, not the fullness of reality. This way of thinking loses sight of the whole and makes the world of concepts cold and devoid of a healthy feeling component.”

But this was exactly how I went through school, from grade school to the doctoral lvel. And I believe I had my share of success.

However, after reading Martha Beck and especially after watching “The Secret” several times the purely rational way of thinking makes me feel inadequate in the 21st century.

So much of technology can’t be tamed through rational thinking especially as the supporting structures fail to allow the latest technology to perform its promises.

There are several, make that many, disruptive occurrences that make life harder in spite of the many conveniences related to banking, communication, transportation etc. Even the simple procedure of claiming one’s ID from the security guards of buildings can be hazardous especially if one suffers from hypertension!

How can the Law of Attraction or the Energy Paradigm explain why I get a texted message at !:15 am in the morning by somebody from FACEBOOK INVITING ME TO JOIN? But I have an account! Or what about utterly exasperating agents from a certain bank calling our landline at various times of the day for months, trying desperately to locate a very bad debtor?

One explanation for my disasters with technology is that I still see the world in the Newtonian way. What I fail to consider is that “solid particles are mere energetic patterns until observed by consciousness.” so Martha Beck explained.

For almost 2 months now I have been practising the Ho’oponopono process that uses “entrainment”. This paradigm is the best for me because apparently it can be applied to all issues. The beauty is that I do the changing of myself and let the world be.

Sometimes it works; but it takes time. There is another solution. Martha Beck recommends going into WORDLESSNESS and ONENESS. This is even harder than the Ho’oponopono because I believe it requires going into ASC or altered state of consciousness.
