Consciousness

“Superstruct” from Institute for the Future www.ift.org and “Mission Possible” of Nicanor Perlas have disturbed my relatively peaceful months. Between my books written by an American Buddhist and my recent bible “Finding Your Way in a Wild New World” by Martha Beck I often leave my crossword puzzles unfinished. Rather than get lost in gigantic tasks envisioned by both “Superstruct” and “Mission Possible” I choose to dwell on what is doable in an individual sphere. This way I don’t get lost in my frustrations. I draw inspiration from Lynn Grabhorn who devoted a chapter on consciousness. She titled the chapter as thought. Our connection to God. This chapter together with Beck’s book has brought me countless answers beyond the mechanical visualization exercises urged by “The Secret”. M. Beck refers to “manifesting” as “forming”. This does not require the struggle to will something into reality. “Real forming is a process of INVITING universal ONENESS to play with an individual human imagination. This always begins not with intense, grasping focus; with nonattachment that comes with wordlessness.”
