“Giving thanks helps us see more closely and more clearly how we are so blessed in all aspects of our life.”
“We lessen the focus on our lack. We begin to be pleased with the big and the little things we have.”
The above statements from Mr. Pido Aguilar led me to review my favorite books. I am disappointed that “Urban Shaman” mentions giving thanks only in connection with the ritual of blessing land newly bought.
Vitale’s “Zero Limits” repeats ‘I thank you’ as part of the Ho’oponopono prayer.
Dr Christine Page’s many books do not have any statement on gratitude!
Of course Dr Lipton and Mike Dooley have Facebook posts on gratitude.
It was an old favorite book by Carol Adrienne which contained many pages on gratitude. This book is now so very dirty with my handwritten notes.
“Earth, Spirit Living” has been quoted by me several times in previous essays in the past:
“Among other things, GRATITUDE opens our minds, heart, senses and creativity to the good that we wish for.”
“When Life Changes…” by Carol Adrienne
“Gratitude unifies the mind with the intelligence of substance, so that [a person’s]
thoughts are received by the formless.”
“Spiritual development comes from keeping our minds open, our hearts open and having an attitude of GRATITUDE…”
“Give thanks regularly for what you already have. GRATITUDE is one of the best ways to raise our spirits to a higher frequency.”
